We have rebuilt the Tribe website from the ground up. Same bikes, same people, same low prices. What has changed is everything around them.
The old site did us proud for years, but it had grown heavy. Pages took their time, the phone experience lagged behind the desktop one, and finding the right spare tube for your bike was harder than it had any right to be. So we started again.
The prices have not moved
This is the part worth saying plainly, because a new website is exactly the kind of thing that makes people brace for a price rise. There is no price rise. Every bike costs what it cost last week, and the accessories do too.
We would rather spend the money on a site that helps you buy the right thing than on making the same thing look more expensive.
Ask us anything, and get an answer now
Every bike page now has an Ask box, and so does the FAQ page. Type a real question in your own words and you get a real answer, drawn from our own specs, prices and FAQs rather than from the internet at large.
It is genuinely useful for the questions people ask us at 10pm when we are not at our desks. Will this fit my 8 year old and my 4 year old. What is the range with two kids on board. Can I ride it on the road here. How long does delivery take.
Have a go right now. It knows each bike separately, so pick the one you are curious about.
Finding things is a lot easier
Accessories are now filtered by the bike you actually own, so you see the parts that fit and not the ones that do not. Spare parts have their own list, because hunting for a replacement tube through a wall of cargo nets was nobody’s idea of a good time.
Our accessory bundles sit in there too, with everything they contain listed up front, so you can see exactly what you are getting before you commit.
What has not changed
Your orders, your warranty and your bikes are exactly where you left them. The 24 month warranty still applies, checkout works the same way, and the same two people answer the phone.
The Adventures stories are all still here as well, going back years. We did not throw anything away.
If something is not quite right, tell us
A rebuild this size will have rough edges we have not spotted. If a page looks broken, a link goes nowhere, a price looks wrong, or an old bookmark of yours stops working, we want to know.
Email hello@tribebikes.com.au and tell us what you were trying to do. A short description and a screenshot is plenty. We would much rather hear about it than have you quietly give up.
