95nM Bafang M510 motor
The biggest upgrade on the 2026 Evamos is the motor. We’ve replaced the 80nM torque M400 motor with the lighter weight, more refined and a massive 95nM of torque M510 motor. The motor is still 100% compliant to ride on the roads in Australia, with average power output of 250w and max speed of 25km/h.
We’re stoked with the M510 motor, having run it on our Ricky Rickshaw for the last couple of years, it is refined, quiet and powerful
Upgraded Shimano Cues Groupset
Shimano’s Cues gear system was launched with e-bikes in mind. We’ve put it on the 2026 Evamos, it is fast to shift, quiet and heavy duty.
The best thing about the new 9 speed Shimano Cues gear system is the extra range it gives, paired with a larger front ring, it allows more top speed, whilst not compromising on the low range for hills and heavy loads.
Accessory upgrades
We’ve upgraded a bunch of the Tribe Evamos accessories, based on our own use of the bikes with our kids.
Crew Cab with back rest
The Crew Cab sports a number of upgrades including a dual side bar for safer riding and our most requested feature by our kids, a back cushion.
Integrated seat cushions
The seat cushions now bolt directly to the bike, removing the need for the deck boards and their associated weight and ensuring the seat cushions never move.
Optional handlebar controlled dropper seatpost
We’ve pre-routed cables for the exceptional value Exaform 86i dropper seatpost, with 150mm of travel. Adjust the height with a single press of the handlebar lever. You’ll need a bike mechanic to install your dropper seatpost.
Optional second battery
30 – 40 km of range not enough for you? You can now carry a second battery for simple swap out when your first battery runs flat. Plus buy with your Tribe Evamos and save $100 on your second battery purchase.

The all new Tribe Evamos is designed to support the family favourite Thule Yepp 2 Maxi Child seat. Featuring soft, shock absorbing foam, adjustable 5 point safety harness and a lock to lock the seat onto your bike, Thule’s products are top notch, and the Yepp 2 Maxi does not disappoint!
Install two Yepp Maxi seats, one and a seat pad or two seat pads, your Evamos is designed to grow with your kids.
