18 months since the launch of the Tribe Evamos, we’ve been overwhelmed at its success & the positive feedback we receive from our Evamos customers. It’s practical, powerful and reliable, all in an affordable package!
What if you don’t need to carry two kids now? Your oldest is on their own bike, your partner is looking for an E-bike to accompany you on rides, you only have one child, or maybe you’re just looking for a flexible commuter bike that can carry heaps of stuff and get you to your destination sweat free!
Well, now we have the answer. We’ve taken the Evamos, shrunk it down and changed a few components to make it AFFORDABLE! After all we’re in the midst of a cost of living crisis!

The Tribe Raha shares many of the same features as the Tribe Evamos, this includes its versatile rear rack that can handle kids, dogs and cargo. The optional front rack has integrated the MIK mounting system, adding even more carrying space. Our recommendation for the front rack is the massive Basil Large crate, with ample space for a couple of bags of groceries and a backpack.
All new Accessories
Many of the Tribe Evamos accessories are compatible with the Tribe Raha. Popular accessories such as the Polisport Bubbly seat, Urban Iki Junior seat and Basil Buddy Basket. We’ve also released a line of new accessories to really get the most out of the Raha.
Pilot’s Chair
The Pilot’s chair provides a safe and comfortable seat for your rear passenger. With memory foam seat and a hand hold, the seat is easy to access and provides ample security for your rear passenger. The Pilot’s chair can also be used on the Tribe Evamos if your crew has grown out of the Crew Cab. The Pilot’s Chair has been endorsed by our 5 and 7 year olds as the comfiest seat yet!
Fold Up Foot Pegs
The Fold Up Foot pegs provide a compact and safe spot for your passengers to rest their feet, and they easily fold out of the way when not in use to avoid you banging your shins on them.
Not only that, but the foot pegs can be installed in two positions, one for smaller kids and one for bigger kids. Got two sized kids that will ride your Raha? Buy two sets of footpegs and have them both permanently installed.
Adventure Bars
Attaching to the seatpost, the Adventure Bars provide a sturdy grip to passengers. If your crew don’t need the support of the Pilot’s Chair, then a seat pad and some Adventure Bars may be all they need. Also compatible with Tribe Evamos.
Extremely Compact footprint
The Raha measures just 175cm long, making it one of the most compact cargo bikes getting around.
Plus, with the Pilot’s chair installed, stand your Raha upright for storage, taking up only about a metre of footprint
Raha Motor & Electronics
Where the Raha breaks away from the Evamos a little is the motor & electronics.
Gone is our trusty Bafang 36v 250w mid drive motor from the Evamos and in is a Bafang 48v 500w hub drive motor. Why the change? Well there’s a couple of reasons, the main being affordability. To make the Raha as affordable as possible we switched to a hub motor. Don’t get us wrong, it’s still a great piece of kit and provides all the power you need on a bike this size. We’re super impressed with it.
The motor comes with cadence sensing, and is legal to ride on the streets of NSW (for private property use in all other states). It also comes with an optional throttle kit, if you think you need a throttle to get going. Note that the addition of a throttle makes the Raha non compliant for on road riding in any Australian state or territory.
We’ve also added a sleek integrated downtube battery, so it hardly looks like you’re riding an e-bike. The battery is kitted with 500wh of capacity, giving you up to 50km of riding.
Plus everything we love about the Evamos
Where possible, the Raha design has stayed consistent with the Evamos. Why fix something that ain’t broke?
This includes our innovative 24″/20″ wheel configuration, designed to keep the centre of gravity of the rear of the bike as low as possible but make it handle more like a ‘normal bike’.
We’ve also included an 8 speed Shimano groupset, front and rear lights, a ‘deflopilator’ to keep you from getting the speed wobbles, a centre kickstand allowing kids to get on and off safely, rear wheel skirt to keep kids’ digits out of the spokes, and kevlar lined balloon tyres for a comfortable and worry free ride.
All at an affordable price point
The Raha is available now for just $2,990 (until 1 March 2024). If you’ve been considering pulling the trigger on an e-bike this may be the bike for you, it’s all business during the week and all party on the weekend. What else could you ask for?
