With health benefits, environmental benefits and fun benefits, you’ll find you’ll leave the car home more often then not, and maybe even sell that second car that is used exclusively for running errands.
However, what do you do when you go on holidays? Tourist hot spots can be a nightmare getting around in cars in peak season. Imagine if you could ditch the car getting around Byron Bay, The Gold Coast or Mornington Peninsula in peak season?

Buzzrack car racks
One of the challenges with carrying a Longtail style cargo bikes is finding a car rack that supports the long wheel base. The weight of electric bikes make them unsuitable for carrying on roof bike racks so a hitch or towball mount rack is the only option.
We’ve tested a few options and our preference is the Buzzrack E-Scorpion. Available in both single and double options and hitch or ball mount, it is designed for heavy e-bikes and on a double we can carry two Evamos or Raha bikes as you can see below.

Remember your weight and width limits
Each state has their own laws regarding overhang of things like bikes on your car. Make sure you review your state’s laws. In our experience, you shouldn’t have any problem if you’re driving a modern SUV.
And of course, remember your weight limits if you’re going to plan to carry your bike on your caravan or motorhome! E-Bikes are heavy and could push you over legal limits without sensible packing.
