The Thousand Jr. deals with the two things that stop children wearing a helmet. It doesn’t pinch, and they don’t mind being seen in it.
The buckle is magnetic, so it closes one-handed with no skin caught in the clip. Anyone who’s trapped a child’s neck in a plastic buckle knows how much of the fight that one detail removes.
